CERTAINLY ONE OF THE TOUGHEST MULTI-DAY ROUTES IN THE WORLD IN TOTAL AUTONOMY
Your ultimate challenge ... total autonomy
In 2025, The Ultimate 1000 takes you on an even more daring adventure across Switzerland, covering 13 cantons - almost half the country. Departing from Aigle, you'll discover the sometimes little-known jewels of the Pre-Alps, the Alps and what might be called the Swiss High Alps, with legendary passes over 2,000 metres high, such as the Flüela,Albula and Klausen, new for this third edition.
From valley to valley, this revisited route will take you to majestic new sites such as the city of Lucerne, the enchanting shores of Lake Lucerne, and must-see destinations such as Lenzerheide and Davos. The historic cantons of original Switzerland will be revealed for the first time, offering you a varied landscape of long passes and rolling sections. This harmonious blend promises a fluid experience, allowing you to find a "more comfortable" pace while remaining true to the demanding nature of the event.
Every ascent, every descent, every panorama will take you to an exceptional finish line: the Château d'Aigle, a centuries-old symbol to crown an extraordinary feat. Filled with emotion, you'll achieve something great as you face a unique and memorable challenge, where every kilometer tells a story.
Can you rise to this incredible challenge?
